I received excellent service from this company today and Friday upon an HVAC installation issue at my home. The installation was not done by this company, but they were quick to help. They were very transparent about the process, what issues we could be facing, and extremely helpful in helping me to understand the steps and terminology. The gentlemen who responded were Seth, Reid, and Harrison. Highly recommend and will be using this company in the future if needed!!
They refuse to help you if your generator is attached to an RV! Even though they say they offer comprehensive support and service, they absolutely DO NOT. So if you need help with a generator, just make sure it’s not connected to an RV cause these guys will simply say “we can’t help you with that”. Makes no sense. They obviously have too much business to care, or they’re lazy. Either way, you’re probably better off going somewhere else.
Mark was very kind and helpful and got my generac generator back up and running. I very much appreciated that he didn't make me feel stupid or inferior for my lack of technical knowledge. He answered all of my questions and also gave some good advice for future maintenance and problems to look out for. I'm feeling much more secure heading into this stormy winter weekend!
Seth from Al Marino showed up for a service call and was very helpful and respectful. Company truck looked professional and clean. $79 service charge for the visit seems reasonable. Seth kept me in the loop and informed. Would use them again if needed.
I have been a loyal customer of Al Marino for over 10 years. I have had some issues with them in the past but let them go without complaining. I called them out on 12-15-25 because my thermostate was out and my system was blowing cold air. The guy came out and spent maybe 40 minutes here if that and said there was water in something that he drained and it cost me $84.53. He said it was fixed for now and no explanation to why it happened. Not even an hour after he left, it was out again. I called again costing me $267.50 because it was an emergency call they said. The same guy came out and said a line was frozen. By this time my husband was home and said show me. The line was not frozen and shot liquid out. The guy said well you need a pump to which my husband said there is one connected to the system. Which seemed like a surprise to the guy. The guy didn't do anything and then left. I didn't even get a receipt for payment for this visit. So $352.03 down the drain for nothing from Al Marino and my system was still out. So my husband cleaned out a trap after the guy leaves and the system worked for several days.It went out again on 12-20-25. I called Al Marino out again costing me another $267.50 and I told them to send a different guy than the one who came out before. The guy comes out to check the system and says it needs another pump. After he had checked things out and said another pump needed to be installed I asked him if it was safe for me to continue resetting the limit switch to try to get it to work. He acted like he knew something else was wrong with the system other than needing a pump. But he told me that it was fine for me to do that just be careful because of the electricity. I say fine install another pump and he comes back the next day to install a pump we had purchased. Costing me $1066.09. Not 10 minutes after he leaves the system is out again. I called again and the guy comes back looks for a second and says you need a new furnace.By this point I have spent $1685.62 for nothing and call out another company. They knew right away what the problem was and recommended a new furnace. They also informed me that it was unsafe to use the furnace and not to use it by resetting the limit switch. So I recommend you save yourself time, money and a headache by calling another company.
