Used them for 2 services. First one was a minor installation of a new shower valve. Went smooth and glad I didn't try to tackle this myself. It looked a lot harder than I would imagine.Second service was to re-pipe a majority of our house from 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch piping due to low water pressure (house built in the 1950s) Jeremy wrote up the quote for us and it was a third of the price of Golden Rule Plumbing. David our technician was super informative and made sure the procedure was done right getting rid of many old plumbing mistakes from the previous installer and cleaning out many old unnecessary piping. We had a water softener installed along with the service and they even made sure our outside spigot was piped to not run soft water through a very cramped crawl space.Our water pressure has more than doubled and we can run multiple fixtures without a drop of pressure.
I’ve used Cook Plumbing for nearly 40 years and have always appreciated their service. Recently Troy has fixed a few plumbing issues in my home with efficiency, professionalism and a smile. I thank Jeremy for the fast appointments.
I own an HOA property management company, and prompt communication is a critical part of how we serve our communities. Unfortunately, my experience with Cook Plumbing has been extremely disappointing. For more than three months, I attempted to reach Logan regarding an urgent underground leak. Despite countless calls and a conversation with Jeremy, who I understand to be his supervisor, I never received a single return call or update.This level of unresponsiveness—especially for an issue of this importance—is unacceptable. As a result, we have chosen not to work with this company moving forward. We were referred to Cook Plumbing by the Operations Supervisor at Urbandale Utility, which makes the lack of professionalism and follow-through even more concerning.I hope this feedback encourages improvement, but based on our experience, I cannot recommend their services.
Been using Cook (specifically, Troy) to maintain my whole-house water filter and all the other misc. plumbing tasks that come up from time to time for the past five years. Always professional, reasonably priced and trustworthy. Glad to have them on my "call sheet"!
I reached out via email to Jeremy that I needed my galvanized pipes removed because of low water pressure and needed a wash sink installed. Jeremy came to my home to eye the work required and provided an estimate. I worked via email to set up a time to get the work done. I let Manny inside and he went to work with his great taste in classical music! When I returned, the work was done and my water pressure high! Would highly recommend these professionals for reasonable costs for very professional quality work!
