We collaborated on a cottage build where Rob and his team provided the plumbing services. It was a complete start to finish project and Rob did the floor heating, copper plumbing, drain hookups, rough in and also the final finish install of premium plumbing fixtures. All of the work was completed with long term quality and maintenance in mind. The end result is that the homeowner is very happy with the workmanship completed
The work itself was done well. The appointment was scheduled promptly, and the plumber was efficient and helpful.The only issue I had was with pricing. The quoted price seemed to only cover the service, but additional charges for materials—like gloves, paper towels, and garbage bags—were added on. I was charged $40 for these, and I initially assumed the price would only increase if the job took longer than expected or required extra materials. Looking back at the breakdown, it seems the quoted price will almost always increase because every job uses some materials.Additionally, there was an extra $65 charge for the drain machine, which I had assumed was included in the quote when I shared the problem and pictures. This is something to keep in mind for future jobs, as it differs from my experience with other plumbing companies.Overall, the service was good, but just be aware that the final price may be higher than the initial quote due to materials and equipment charges.
Nick from Galaxy Plumbing re-did about 80% of the plumbing in our older home, including dishwasher installation, main shut-off valve replacement and the rough-ins + finishing for our upstairs laundry, two bathrooms and the kitchen. The original plumbing in our house had been done very poorly — inefficient drain configurations, sagging drains and no venting at all caused ongoing issues, such as backups, weird smells and leaks (which resulted in mold issues).Rob and Nick were knowledgeable, thorough, and understood how to correct legacy problems, not just patch them. Everything was reconfigured thoughtfully, with proper slope, clean layouts, and long-term functionality in mind. We now have the peace of mind knowing the plumbing was finally done right.

I hired Galaxy plumbing to install a smart water assistant and shutoff. I choose Galaxy because they have expertise installing these devices. They were able to accurately quote the job at a fair price and to complete the work without issue. They gave me a 1 hour window for an appointment schedule and showed up exactly on time. Nicholas was an excellent plumber - professional, personable and kept the space clean and tidy throughout. I asked him to also fix a hissing toilet. He was able to make difficult repairs on a hard to access and service one-piece toilet. Nothing but good things to say. Will definitely use again and highly recommend!
